Our Man of Men: Joe Wycoff, June 2008.
|
|
Last month, I was contacted by the NFL office with an exciting idea and opportunity for us to honor our heritage while also contributing to the future of forensics. The National Forensic League has begun the Legacy Endowment program to raise funds in honor of a great coach; these funds will then provide for forensic coach training, thus enabling future generations of teens to reap the amazing benefits that we all still enjoy!
I was especially excited to learn that none other than our own Joe Wycoff is the first to be honored through the Legacy Endowment. Both Jeff Lanter and I have enthusiastically signed on as co-chairs of this effort, and ask that you read these letters which we've prepared to fuel this noble cause. Let's honor Broadway Joe in the most meaningful way: we'll make the future bright for competitive speech!
WHAT are you thinking?
What do you THINK you think?
ARE you thinking?!
THINK SOMETHING!!!
Ah, Joe.
