Yes, this is the official website of the Chesterton High School Speech & Debate Alumni Association. It's a gathering place for our alumni to reconnect, share, remember, and honor the good times, both past and present!

There's a lot here to explore and enjoy, fellow alums!
- The "Alumni & Coaches" page has mini-bios, profiles, e-mail links, and even some "then and now" photos of your old teammates and mentors. If you're not on that page, register! And if you're there already, be sure to keep your (concealed) contact info updated. It's completely secure, and your privacy is our priority!
- The "Our History" page is an impressive collection of the major competitive milestones of the CHS Speech & Debate Team . . . over the past 40 years. Jim Cavallo, author!
- The "Photo Albums" . . . well, you can figure that one out. It's the best part of this site! Browse through hundreds of photos in dozens of albums and then -- add your own!
- The "40th Reunion" page recaps a magical gathering we celebrated in July 2008. I was the chairperson and I'm literally STILL recovering! WHAT a PARTY!
- The "45th Reunion" page will herald updates to the next S&D reunion in 2013. I promise it will be even better than the first reunion (we learned quite a lot last year!). Check out that page and then "save the date" for, um, the whole summer of 2013. Just to be safe.
- The "Contact Us" page is an e-mail link if you should have questions or comments for the Alumni Association.
- The Wycoff Endowment page is just plain special and worthwhile. Click. Read. Be inspired.

Remember the legendary "pool hall" of the old CHS?

I'm honored to keep this website running for 40 years' worth of champs! After the enthusiastic response and outright USE of this site last year, Bob Kelly and Jim Cavallo and about 300 of their fans hated to see it die. So it's here for you, courtesy of the CHS Speech & Debate Alumni Association. Let me know how I can help you connect with old friends and coaches!

This is an old newspaper photo of me with Bob Kelly at nationals in 1993. We both wore our "lucky" clothes -- notice Bob's lucky exotic, floral print. And I'm hanging on his every word. (Gosh, some things never change.)
